I suppose when the courts rule in our favour they no longer become the "counter
revolutionaries" that are used to perpetuate repressive laws created under
apartheid. Hey maqabane we are in trouble! Big trouble!

Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] YCLSA is delighted by decision of Constitutional
Court to dismiss DA vote of no confidence application

*YCLSA Press Alert*

*YCLSA is delighted by decision of Constitutional Court to dismiss DA vote
of no confidence application *

The Young Communist League of South Africa (uFasimba) welcomes with delight
the decision by Constitutional Court to dismiss the preposterous
application by DA and its puppies in forcing parliament to discuss its
publicity thirsty motion of vote of no confidence to President Zuma.

This spiral motion was never in public interest or mandate of electorate
but a cheap political publicity stunt of featuring in public domain ahead
of ANC Mangaung Conference.

Dismissal of this application affirms the independence of parliament as
separate arm of state, with authority and capacity to run its affairs and
resolve its issues.

It is our resolve that it would be unpalatable and chaotic day if courts
were to resolve political disputes. We trust that this decision by highest
court in South Africa sets a solid precedent that courts are not platforms
to resolve political disputes within and among political players.

It is even absurd for opposition parties whom their mission of existence is
only to oppose ANC, to proclaim that they have lost confidence in President
as if they ever had confidence in President.

We call for all right thinking South Africans to isolate these right wing
tendencies who thrive in dividing the nation as to sustain their apartheid
earned privileges.

We equally reiterate our full confidence in President of Jacob Zuma and
that is why we will actively campaign that he retain as President of the
Republic after 2014 general elections.
