Press statement for immediate release

Appointment of the ANC Limpopo Provincial Task Team

An intervention in what is seen to be unfortunate in the functionality of the
organization, is the first and most solicitous act of leadership, which if
engaged into at an earliest convenience, the organization grows and remain a
fertile ground for people‘s wishes to be realized.

The PEC of the ANC in the Limpopo Province has had challenges in its daily and
office long period as engulfed by political and governmental abnormalities,
which had been scarce to the satisfaction of all that are lead, though on daily
basis a prioritized wish was the creation of a united and prospering province,
with the membership of sharpened political realizations, regardless of errors
or perfections befitting to assortment of our members’ preferences.

The grit which the National Executive Committee of the ANC walked on towards an
intervention to bring about sound organizational existence in the province is
welcomed, and thus the Provincial Task Team as lead by Cde. Philemon Mudaka as
the Chairperson and the collective receives full support from us as the
Provincial Executive Committee of the ANCYL Limpopo.

We salute the disbanded Provincial Executive Committee as lead by Comrade
Cassel Mathale for all the selflessness and maturity, which motivated them to
respect the unanimous decision of the NEC and the assurance to comply and
cooperate with the PTT in all its work. We above everything thank them for all
the leadership to us and the organization since their election into office in
2011. We are inspired.

The ANCYL Limpopo wishes the former PEC well in everything they will do, and
assure the PTT of our unfaltering support in the nine months of organizational
reestablishment as tasked by the NEC and prescribed in the Constitution of the
ANC, we will relate with them like parent-child relationship should be at all
material times, and furthermore ensure that they do not fail in the execution
of their responsibilities.

We as well urge PTT not be tempted by factionalism and become isolating to the
masses who raises contradicting views, theirs is to actualize the wishes of the
National Conference as held in Mangaung and the NEC to build a cohesive ANC and
Alliance in the Province.

We congratulate them and also wish them well in all their comings and goings.
