Nope. Don't remember the time NUMSA objected to the diagnosis report. Can
you please find that document, and post it, or if it is too huge, post a
link to it?

Just for the record, the actual NDP came out on 11 November 2011, seventeen
months ago. SADTU objected within days, in a public statement, to what the
NDP said about SADTU. There were few, if any, other comments from trade
unions at that time.

I don't remember anything NUMSA said about the NDP until well into 2013,
and long after the 53rd Conference of the ANC.

NUMSA can put the record straight.

Actually, the NDP will not be good without critique.

But right now, all NUMSA seems to be saying about the NDP is that it is
"DA", according to them.

What NUMSA's substantive objection is, is obscure. It would be better if
they come up with an analysis that does not rely on references to the DA,
so that we can judge the merits of NUMSA's case in a blackmail-free
environment.

If NUMSA is opposing the principle of planning altogether, then the whole
movement should come down on NUMSA like a ton of bricks. The opposite of
planning is "*laissez-faire*", meaning "do nothing", or more specifically:
"leave everything to the markets". That is neo-liberalism. Is NUMSA
advocating neo-liberalism? If so, then they should be corrected.
