*YCLSA Statement on the bi-elections in Tlokwe* The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] in the North West Province is concerned with the situation that is brewing in the Tlokwe Municipality [Potchefstroom]. We note the attempt by Democratic Alliance [DA] with their fake mayor Annette Combrink and a few factory faults from the African National Congress [ANC] to derail our revolution and to roll back the gains of our revolution. As the YCLSA in the Province we will go out in our numbers to campaign and ensure an overwhelming victory for the ANC in the Bi-elections that will take place this Wednesday [August 07, 2013]. We are more than ready to work with the ANC in winning the bi-elections in the wards affected by the expulsion of 14 councillors at the Tlokwe Council. *Remarks by SANCO* We are saddened by the comments attributed to the South African National Civic Organisation [SANCO] in the North West. We appeal to SANCO to stop grandstanding and behaving like an extension of the DA. We have noted some leaders of SANCO in the Province addressing protest marches of the expelled councillors who are now contesting the bi-elections as independent candidates. We appeal to the National leadership of SANCO to intervene in this matter. The ANC has done a lot for our people since the 1994 democratic breakthrough and more can still be done to bring betterment to the lives of our people.
