It was second structural meeting before which was indeed first meeting was Regional Task Team meeting aimed at presenting a programme of action aswell as to finalize deployments of Sub-Regions. Regional Working Task Team had to adjourn as unanimously agreed that it would be paramount and within organizational discipline that we attend Regional Election Team sanctioned by National Election Team and indeed we were afforded such opportunity to attend. Our programme of action is in form of Relay Marathon as would unfolds as follows; Sub-Regional Visit(s) Moretele [26/08/13 @ 16:00] Madibeng [27/08/13 @ 16:00] Rustenburg [28/08/13 @ 16:00] Moses Kotane [29/08/13 @ 16:00] Kgetlheng [30/08/13 @ 16:00] On RET ANCYL welcomes the National Election Team assessment session with ANC RET as a way putting machinery more so that we are within the jurisdiction of marikana. We have observed a challenging hype of berets which also serves as opportunity to claim back what belongs to ANC and its alliance partners. In the face value it has seemed as if we are highly infiltrated but honestly this pop corn organization its already in decline stage which then our task would not be much difficult but to clarify on issues encoded to be correct by media frenzy fanatics. It in this meeting we were reminded that ANC has brought democracy to all of us even though some reduced it to peace meal activity when they wake up they rush to IEC and register political parties. We take stock of reality that democracy is much deeper and more fundamental than mere exchange of opinions or concerns. ANC as a broad church has always taught us that politics of ANC remains complex and dynamic which would require high level of conscious to grasp with political environment. RET Report We take pride of the work done so far by the branches of the ANC, it is with excitement that the victory is certain considering activities which ANCYL would embark upon. RET Coordinator accounted on Regional Election Work as SWOT analysis was order of the meeting with a detailed programme of action implemented exactly after the meeting in one of reluctant branch in Rustenburg which programme was extended to other Sub-Region the following day. However we still believe that ID Campaign and Voter registration would be our sole programme of action which its quite clear that many young people have not registered not that they are disgruntled like some suggest but the act of comfortability of democratic gains.
