Cde Domza,

My personal view has always been clear on the Vavi saga, it has at all material
times being informed by the dictates of my conscience. Suffice it to say, I
shall have never opted to either promote or attempt to understand the
unfortunate actions by the suspended COSATU GS. For me, what Vavi did is
totally unacceptable and the suspension as a result of his misguided actions
remains literally correct. However, I am of the view that condemning scientific
facts on the acts of some, should not be determined by whether Vavi admitted to
his wrong doings or shall have uttered irresponsible statements such as "We all
do these things in dark corners" like some might want to argue.

We need to deal with matters as they come and stop pretending as if what Vavi
did, would permit some to further engage commit sexual harassment or any other
patriarchal tendency. Therefore, cde VC, I hope you'll agree with me that any
man who takes advantage of our vulnerable sisters in arms or rather promote any
form of patriarchy, is a megalomania who thinks women are nothing but objects
meant to fulfill their sexual desires. Such persons are indeed not suitable for
office, let alone to lead any component of the revolutionary alliance more
especially COSATU and its affiliates, if I were to borrow your words
