On NUMSA Preliminary investigations the following emerged that the meeting was attended by Cedric Gina-former NUMSA president, Sfiso Maphumulo-former NUMSA shopsteward, Simangenkosi Khoza-former NUMSA regional educator, and Karl further sustain this lies by adding that they are aware that Mmusi Serobatse-former Numsa Youth Desk Coordinator, and Alex Mashilo-former OCCB HOD are now playing some trade in the South African Communist Party Head Office and played a critical role in the Benoni Meeting to liquidate Numsa. · Karl Claims that, and how did he reached his conclusion on the agenda of the meeting is so surprising, he claims that we discussed the following issues: · That those who attended must mobilize other NUMSA shop stewards and members, and demand statement in respect of costs related to Zwelinzima Vavi matter. · Disclosure of donations secured from overseas trip · Why Numsa congradulated EFF in winning elections. · That NUMSA is fighting for selfish interest. I’m aware that by today NUMSA NOBs are requesting that all who formed part of the Benoni meeting should tell them the following: · Who was at the meeting-to this Karl concluded who attended, this is baseless · Which venue-but Karl concluded that in was held in Benoni · Who funded the meeting- but Karl concluded on the Benoni Meeting funding, · When is next meeting? This is nothing but an indication of business unionism which NUMSA leadership leave out off, they embezzle workers money, and they need to account to members.To set the record straight, Karl Cloete in particular and the NOBs in general stop fabricating lies of insecurity, if this is true let there be life style audit of all NUMSA, NOBs and ROBs. I was not part of the meeting, I know nothing of such a thing, I think NUMSA should have done its investigation properly before setting out this un- grounded allegations.
