To celebrate International Women's Day 2015 The Albertina Sisulu Memorial Lecture is to be given by COSATU 2nd Deputy President, Cde Zingiswa Losi COSATU and Old Mutual in Limpopo will commemorate International Women's Day on the 12th of March 2015 at Polokwane Royal Hotel - 17h00 by hosting a Lecture to remember the Stalwart, Mme Albertina Sisulu. The main aim of holding a lecture in commemoration of international women's day is to: . Draw strength from this very amazing woman. . Inspire women of the role that they can play in changing their living conditions. . Motivate and encourage women to play a vital role in closing the gaps of gender inequalities that still exist in trade unions and the society in general. . Celebrate the milestones that we have achieved so far on the road to gender equality. . Acknowledge the role that the current female leaders are playing in our trade unions . Instil a sense of courage and determination for women to fight against women's oppression without fear and favours. We invite women from COSATU, OLD Mutual, the alliance, MDM structures and any other organizations that are on par with us in achieving gender equality to celebrate the day with us.
