All unions to Honour Hani

Itumeleng Mafisa, The New Age, Johannesburg, 7 April 2015

Even in death, Chris Hani remains a unifying force. So much so that leaders
of various unions in COSATU have agreed to put their differences aside on
the anniversary of the former SACP leader's assassination on April 10.

Some unions that had boycotted COSATU's recent central executive committee
meetings in solidarity with expelled metal workers union MUMSA, said
yesterday they would attend the meeting.

Food an Allied Workers Union general secretary Katishi Masemola said Hani
was a struggle icon and had nothing to do with the wrangling in COSATU.
