South African Communist Party Central Committee, 21 April 2015 To: Members of the 13th Congress Central Committee SACP Provincial, District Secretaries and the National Secretary of the YCL Dear Comrades, Memorandum Regarding SACP Special National Congress Tuesday 07 - Saturday 11 July 2015 This letter serves to inform you of the key task and preparations that all SACP structures should comply with ahead of the Special National Congress due to be held in Johannesburg, Gauteng from Tuesday 07 - Saturday 11 July 2015 at the University of Johannesburg, Soweto Campus in Gauteng. Registration 1. Each delegate (including CC, YCL, local and International guests) to the Congress must register by sending back the attached form. The delegate, branch, district or provincial secretary, etc. of whom the delegate is a representative must sign this form. 2. Registration forms should reach the head office by Monday 15 June 2015 for verification process. All forms should be posted to 4th Floor, COSATU House, 110 Jorissen Street, Braamfontein for the attention of Comrade Vuyiswa Lwana or email to [email protected], [email protected], fax: 086 611 4698 and attach a consolidated list of the delegates. 3. All delegates are expected to register for congress and check in for accommodation on the 07th July 2015. 4. The registration fee to the Congress is as follows: a) Central Committee = R 10 000 b) Provincial Executive Member = R 2 500. 00 c) Voting Delegate = R 1000.00 d) SMME Vendors = R 1 000.00 e) Cooperate Exhibition = R 5 000.00 f) Alliance Partners = R 2 500.00 g) Related Institutions and MDM Structures = R 1000.00 5. Delegates to the congress must pay the registration fee or have it paid by their branch, district or Province by 25th June 2015 to the following bank details: Account Name: SACP; First National Bank, Parktown Branch, Code 250 455, A/C 622 9764 7540 6. The Head Office will process registration forms received from the Provincial office. The letter, the form and proof of payment signed by both the District and/or the Province, should accompany individual forms. 7. Late registrations will not be processed under any circumstances 8. Delegates must bring Proof of Payment of the registration fee. These include receipt from the Head office, a bank stamped deposit slip showing the payment into the relevant account and a current valid membership card. 9. Replacements of delegates must be communicated before 30 June 2015 for us to finalise logistics of accreditation and accommodation noting that the changes i.e. gender, late communication, etc. might impact on the planning. Transport 10. Transport to the Congress is the responsibility of every Province. Provinces will advise on the contact person and the pick-up points. Accommodation 11. Accommodation is arranged at the University. The bedding will be provided, because it is winter we urge comrades to bring extra blankets. Delegates will not be sharing. 12. Provincial Administrators and Organisers should arrive in Johannesburg on Monday 06'h July 2015. 13. ALL DELEGATES MUST ARRIVE AT THE CONGRESS VENUE ON THE DAY OF THE REGISTRATION -TUESDAY 7 JULY 2015. Onward ever with Socialism!
