Brazilian Communist Party Opportunism reflects in the organizational, ideological and political crisis of the international communist movement. This movement cannot be reconstructed only with diplomacy, search for consensus, empty declarations without class content. We can't leave apart the debate of divergences in order to keep an artificial unity. The unity we need is that based in the principles of Marxism-Leninism, of proletarian internationalism. In Latin America we need an articulation of revolutionary, anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist parties and forces. Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB) Brazilian communists are today very dedicated to the revolutionary accumulation of forces which shall open the way to the transition for socialism in Brazil. Communist Party of Britain Our project, as British communists, is to place the working class at the centre of politics. In a country where, exceptionally, the trade unions are organisationally united in a single centre and, in their majority, directly affiliated to the Labour Party, this party remains an unreliable instrument for the ruling class. A recognition of this can be found in the attack on these links from government and monopoly media and from the Blairite wing of the Labour Party designed to reduce the presence of the organised working class in politics. Communist Party of Canada Communists in the labour and people's movements are fighting for escalating mass independent political action that would mobilize the working class and its allies in the streets against the austerity agenda. Our objective is to build a broad-based People's Coalition which, with labour at its core, is an alliance that can launch a counter-offensive against monopoly capital and its governments in Canada. This is an essential ingredient to real and fundamental social and political change in Canada today. Communist Party of Cypress (AKEL) We are autonomous parties, each working and living under differing conditions, facing common but also particular challenges. But we all have high responsibility vis-a-vis our respective peoples, the working people, the future of our children, and the future of humanity. And we should be able to stand above our differences and concentrate on what we could do in common. The challenges are too high for us not to try to achieve convergences in our struggles for our common ideals, without trying to hide our differences. Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia It would be wrong to think that war fury affected only Europe and Middle East. It is an American program aiming at installation of a big chaos, which should change the existing frontiers. In their hands, new technologies that were supposed to serve the people are becoming extraordinarily dangerous weapons influencing ideas and behaviour of people. They manage to insert problems and quarrels between nations and states; they manage to use socially and economically weakened societies and religious fanaticism. There is a wave of dissatisfaction with existing social and political situation coming from underneath. However it seems that the left is shuffling. Instead of creation of unified antiwar, anti-fascist line we are dealing with internal problems. In such an escalated international situation it seems that we have lost things that we have in common. To suppress what divides us. It is not about our party interests, it is about real peace! We are becoming an easy target for the world of capital and war agitators. They succeed in dividing us, in blaming our parties from failures of governments of right wing and oligarchy. There are many examples in Central and Eastern Europe. Today there is a new phenomenon in political and social development: Different civil movements with specific aims joining them together. Their acts are neither based on any ideological basis nor do they issue any specific program. Their functioning has been spontaneous and they manage to attract wide masses of people. It seems as If people lose confidence in classical political parties, including communist and workers' parties. We notice this event while losing members and voters. We should mainly analyze this phenomenon and learn from it. It is mainly about abilities to work with new technologies, fast reaction on actual situations, so that we would be capable to tackle serious topics as first ones and to be on the right place at the right time. Sometimes we are slowed down by our own long bureaucratic attitudes. Communist Party of Denmark The most immediate danger to all European countries is the European Union. It should accordingly be fought with resolve and determination. Danish Communists are doing just this, and realizing more than 40 years ago the necessity of fighting the EU led us to build the broad anti-EU people's movement that has since then won important victories and preserved important parts of our independence; e.g., we still have our own national currency. In doing so, we fulfilled the role generally ascribed to Communists - to act as guides to the people and show the way. Without our effort, this broad unity would never had been accomplished; the movement would have dissolved into nationalist factions on the one hand and leftist ones on the other, into proponents of the "Nordic model" on one side and adherents of "small is beautiful" on the other, or similar divisions. Communist Party of Finland This international class struggle needs an honest radical let front to invite new forces and faces to speak for their rights and to build speakers platforms like Lenin said. We don't do the change alone but YES we can and we will do it together with mass movements, critical trade unionists, peace activists, feminists, LGTB volunteers and with all those who want an alternative to the current capitalist exploitation. German Communist Party Our, party, small and in the process of regrouping our forces, is facing a relatively new problem: in Germany, the migrants share in the industrial working class continues to rise. The same is true for the service sector and generally in low-pay sectors. Although often having a class instinct, these immigrants tend not to organise. Under these circumstances we ask the Communist Parties with militants living in Germany to consider an orientation to organise in the German Communist Party: One country, one class, one party! Most immigrants stay for the rest of their lives, although initially this might not have been their intention. The change in the composition of the population in Germany- almost 30 % of which having foreign roots-requires a more organised response from our parties. We imagine that there are similar circumstances in the US, Great Britain, France and other countries with labour immigration. Communist Party of Greece The motor forces of the socialist revolution will be the working class as the leading force, the semi-proletarians, the oppressed popular strata of the urban self-employed, the poor farmers. Hungarian Worker's Party As for the principal issues, we think we should not write a new Communist Manifesto every year. And naturally we must not revise or rewrite the original one. Lebanese Communist Party All of these situations pushed the Lebanese Communist Party to move in two directions: the first direction is social-economic direction depends on launching struggling syndicate movement in both sectors, the private and public, especially the public sector which is facing deep changes since the end of the civil war, in mid 90's, to get rid of it. The other direction is political. It is to gather the democratic forces on the priority of changing the political system through eliminating the sectarian shares and calling to secular patriotic democratic system. Communist Party of Norway All the other people movements of small fishermen, farmers etc. depends on the working class power in the fight for Norway disengagement from the EEA-agreement. Communist Party of Norway sees the fight for Norway to leave the EEA-agreement as the most important political fight in Norway today, to develop the subjective factor, the class conscience of the workers. Developing revolutionary social alliances and class conscience is basic in the fight for socialism / communism in Norway. Portuguese Communist Party The Communists are faced with the need - without curbing or abdicating their identity and principles - to boost broad social alliances and convergence of anti-imperialist forces, erecting a large and intervening movement for peace, against NATO, for disarmament, in defence of national sovereignty and independence and solidarity with the peoples in struggle - namely by promoting and broadening the unitary action of the World Peace Council and other anti-imperialist organizations. PCP is committed to the unity and convergence of the struggle of workers, populations and different anti-monopolist sectors and social layers that, having their specific objectives and demands, constitute determining components towards the rupture with right-wing policies and the achievement of a patriotic and leftwing alternative. Russian Communist Worker's Party We call on all communist and workers parties to pay attention to the theory, to the experience of Comintern. In the current struggle against the aggression in Syria, against the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestinian and Syrian territories, against the threats towards Iran and KPDR, against the punitive operations by local and foreign Fascists carried against the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Democratic Republics in the South-East of the Ukraine all the anti-fascist forces that understand Fascism as in the definition by Comintern, should be united by means of the People Fronts' tactics. Communists give this struggle a clearly defined class character. Communist Party of the Russian Federation We believe that our common joined-up actions will provide a potent answer to the encroachments of the Fascist and extremist forces that have reared their heads. South African Communist Party Today, the struggle against the barbarism, of of global imperialism, more than ever, the task is to build the unity of international working class and the unity of workers with the great mass of the urban and rural poor. The working class alone has the capacity to lead the battle to transform the world and itself in struggle. Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain We believe the strength of our movement is achieved by full class independence, having clear that, in defending the rights of the working class, other classes cannot be more than circumstantial allies at specific times and, in order to advance to the Socialist Revolution, other classes may be allies, but in any case under the hegemony of the working class. We think that, while we have an eye on Socialism, we cannot leave the concrete and partial struggles of our class and other working people, and that each time we need to weigh well the existing balance of forces, who are potential allies, what are those potential allies and what we want do we want these potential allies for. We think that imperialism is the highest stage of capitalist development and therefore its final phase. It will be necessary for the working class, with the vanguard party at the forefront, to make many tactical moves to overthrow the capitalists, the imperialists, but we should never lose that socialist horizon or postpone it indefinitely. We believe that overall relations production, not the temporary ones, the prevailing production relations at the level of the concentrated means of production in a country, are what determine its capitalist or socialist character. We also believe that the capitalist relations of production may remain for some time in the socialist countries after the Revolution, until they have a residual character and disappear. We also know, from past experiences, that the socialist relations of production can be reversed by the influence of several factors, leading to full restoration of capitalist relations. Our movement knows this fact well. Communist Party USA We see the path ahead as being one of the continued greater deepening coalescing of the broadening movements of organized labour, the nationally and racially oppressed along with women, youth, seniors, and the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) communities. We see the path ahead as being one of ever expanding united action in support of labour's right to organize, in support of raising the minimum wage, in support of union jobs or a guaranteed income, in support of the equality of the racially and nationally oppressed and against the relentless racism propagated by the US ruling class, in support of the equality of women and against the war on women in support of the quality of life for seniors, in support of the quality of life of children and youth, in support of full equality and the extension of marriage rights to the LGBTQ, in support of a democratized and demilitarized US foreign policy, and in support of the protection our environment through a massive movement against our domination by the fossil fuel industry in the first place.
