SOUTH AFRICAN COMMUNIST PARTY Western Cape Province, 29 June 2015 Media Statement: SACP Western Cape congratulate the newly elected ANC PEC The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Western Cape commends the leader of the revolutionary alliance, the African National Congress, on its successful 8th Provincial Conference held over the weekend from Friday, 27 to 28 June 2015 at CPUT in Bellville, Cape Town. We further wish to congratulate the newly elected 8th Provincial Conference Provincial Executive Committee and convey our comradely confidence in their collective capacity to lead us of advancing, deepening, defending and consolidating the National Democratic Revolution. The SACP in the province reasserts its commitment, as a reliable ally, in the task ahead of reclaiming political power from the neo-liberal and anti-majoritarian "Democratic Alliance" as well as strengthening and building unity amongst the revolutionary alliance and its structures.
