Lesotho's deputy PM accuses social media of fueling unrest

APA, Star Africa, 15 July 2015

Lesotho's Deputy Prime Minister Mothetjoa Metsing, who is also the leader of
the Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCS) party, which is part of the ruling
coalition government, says messages continually being posted on social media
are meant to fuel political unrest in the country, APA can report.

Metsing told a media briefing Wednesday that the government is going to work
hard to ensure that those who are behind it are brought to book.

Metsing added that critical issues that damage his dignity as the deputy
Prime Minister are also being posted on social media.

"It has been posted on the social networks that l have given the Southern
African Development Community (SADC) investigators who are currently in the
country bribe to cook their findings," he said.
