"Women United in Moving South Africa Forward"

 

 

The South African Democratic Teachers Union'(SADTU) will hold its national
event to mark the National Women's Day  under the theme "Women United in
Moving South Africa Forward", in the Eastern Cape on Saturday, 8 August
2015.

 

Hundreds of SADTU members are expected to attend the celebration at Gcuwa
Walter Sisulu University Hall in Butterworth paying tribute to generations
of women whose contribution to the liberation of human kind have proved
invaluable to society. The day will be marked by speeches from the Union's
national leadership and the Tripartite Alliance leadership.

 

As part of the Union's commitment to making 2015 the year of sports in order
to ensure the well being of our members, soccer and netball matches will
also mark the day.

 

The media is invited to attend and cover the event which will take place as
follows:
