NUM marches to the Chamber of Mines today

 

 

Thousands of members of the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) will today
(5 September 2015) march to handover memorandum of demands to the Chamber of
Mines.

 

The objective of the march is to force the Chamber of Mines to accede to the
NUM wage demands in both Gold and Coal sector.

 

The marchers will start gathering at 09h00 at Portplein Park at corner
Marshall and Nugget Street in Johannesburg. The March will start from 11h00.
The march will proceed to the Chamber of Mines where Chamber representatives
will receive a memorandum.
