*To Bekithemba Mbatha “an open response and intervention to your open letter to Cde Blade”*
May be I shall start by introducing you to the public for the interest of those who might have only read what you normally write without knowing your personal background. Is imperative to give a slight introductory remark about a person of Bekithemba Mbatha, he came out as young bight brained person with interest in media and communication while continuing his studies in Wits University. He received a very warm reception from the South African Communist Party while he cut his first tooth to write political opinion to the public discourse. As a young activist who showed interest in the Marxist Leninist theory and Practice, bekithemba thought by his association to the Communist Party it will enable him to become a lifetime benefactor of higher education system because the General Secretary of the South African Communist Party is the Minister of Higher Education and Training. He thought so while he wanted NSFAS to pay for his second Degree after it has successfully paid up for his first Degree. In other words, Bekithemba was selfishly thinking that by being within the Communist party cycle it will enable him to exploit the academic system. This is a direct epitome of greediness at its highest level that Bekithemba wanted the party to support and the party denies colluding on corruption acts as it continues to raise its red card to corruption!!! Coming to the first quote you have utilised in your so called open letter *‘The other face is that of the indirect and secondary enemy, who presents himself under the cover of a nationalist and even as a revolutionary thus making it difficult to identify him... The fighter must distinguish friend from foe even if the latter is concealed under the same colour, language, family ties or tribal makings as their own, even if he raises his flag with us’.* *— President Samora Machel* You have rightly described yourself as a class enemy less appreciative of the fact that as a child you where never born with immediate capacity to run and by so doing appreciate less the significant role played by the SACP to teach you how to construct a sentence. How to analyse the world outlook with an aim to change it! – of late you had become more critical of the Minister of Higher Education and the General Secretary of the South African Communist Party trying to vent negative statements against his leadership while you deeply know that you are serving your own bitterness of wanting to be the only one who benefit within the academic system. I have got this to tell you: you are very fortunate to have acquired a piece of qualification at your age, there are also other students who are also looking to have the same opportunity, so you must not only think for yourself allow others to enjoy the same benefits you enjoyed. You have wrongfully continued to purport the Minister of Higher Education as a hindrance to the implementation of free education as resolved by the ANC in 2012 Mangaung Conference, but I have another question to ask you. Does the minister operate outside the collective mandate of the ANC? Is he having powers to bypass implementation policies set before him by the organisation that deployed him? Was Comrade Blade self deployed to the government? I do not blame you for all the calls you are making against Comrade Blade Nzimande, sometimes is informed by the fact that you still have shallow brains to combine the role of a pact of the state and government institution and let alone to understand how they operate. All I can say to you is that, most of the people who picked a fight with the leadership of the communist party did not succeed and they could not even sustain it. If you are picking one, Ufasimba will receive it with two open arms but the fear I have is that I don’t know if you will sustain it. I chose not to respond to your whole letter but to concentrate on the first quotation that you are misconstruing but maybe is based on the fact that you actually do not understand what you are saying. I forgive you in advance!!! *Takalani Mmbengeni* *Former Deputy Provincial Secretary * *Gauteng Province YCLSA* *I am writing on my personal capacity and for further engagements you can get me at 082 625 1706 or [email protected] <[email protected]> * -- -- You are subscribed.
