4 December 2015 YCLSA Limpopo condemns an attack on the Provincial Secretary of the SACP The Young Communist League of South Africa (Ufasimba) condemns the attack on Gilbert Manyosi Kganyago [SACP Limpopo Provincial Secretary] by some within our ranks of the Mass Democratic Movement in Peter Mokaba Region of the ANC. This is purely part of the growing anti-communist tendency within our ranks. The medium term vision of the South African Communist party ensured that key leaders within the movement are allowed to occupy positions in the state. This was an attempt by the South African Communist Party to fight corruption, maladministration and prevent wasteful expenditure. There have been growing trends to eliminate those that adhere to the laws of this country and prioritise service delivery to the masses of our people. The YCLSA note with serious concern the attempt by some ANC leaders who want to single out Comrade Gilbert Kganyago as only problematic person within the Council collective and be dealt with. The only crime that Gilbert Manyosi Kganyagohas committed is the uprooting corruption and follow the labour relations act in an attempt to stabilise the now stable Capricorn District Municipality (CDM). The Young Communist League of South Africa remains a disciplined force of the left and such will continue its historical and revolutionary task of strengthening the alliance and build capacity of the state by releasing some of its refined cadres to serve the people of the Republic of South Africa. We appeal to the leadership of the ANC at Provincial level and National level for a speedy intervention on the purging of the SACP Provincial Secretary, Gilbert Manyosi Kganyago.
