MSF Condemns Missile Hit on Medical Centre

Morning Star, London, 11 January 2016

Doctors without Borders (MSF) yesterday condemned the latest attack on its
medical facilities which killed four people in Yemen.

The missile attack in the Razeh district of northern Saada province caused
the collapse of several buildings of the facility.

Ten people were also injured, three of them MSF staff and two of them
critically.

"All warring parties are regularly informed of the GPS co-ordinates of the
medical sites where MSF works," said operations director Raquel Ayora.

While MSF did not accuse any side in the civil war of the attacks, the
hospital was in territory controlled by the Houthis and troops loyal to
former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

A Saudi Arabian-led coalition of nine Arab states has been fighting to
reinstall ousted president Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi since March last year.

In October the coalition was accused of bombing another MSF centre in
northern Yemen.
