Politicsweb.png Palestine should belong to all who live in it The article 'Israel-Palestine: Is not as simple as you think', Tshediso Mangope, on "Politicsweb", 4th March, 2016 needs a response Ibrahim Vawda, of Media Review Network, on Politicsweb, 4 March 2016 First of all, the Zionist, Apartheid entity was born out of a man-made racist ideology. Secondly, it insists on existing as "as a Jewish state". I do not think that any South African, would accept the existence of Apartheid South Africa as a "state for Christian White Afrikaners". Our Freedom Charter states that "South Africa belongs to all who live in it". Similarly, Palestine must be a country that belongs to all who live in it. What is good for the goose must be good for the gander. The writer claims to have visited the two countries. I must assume that he/she visited the racist Zionist State and the West Bank. The Regime of Netanyahu, or any other regime, past or future, will never allow people like Mangope to see the devastation in Gaza, as a result of Operation Cast Lead, Operation Pillar of Cloud and Operation Protective Edge, at the hands of the only nuclear power in the region and the world's fourth largest military power, especially when the visit is a propaganda (Hasbara) trip sponsored by the well-oiled Zionist marketing machinery. By the way, the administration in Ramallah is fully sponsored by the Zionist entity. He who pays the piper calls the tune. I would like to inform the writer, that the Zionist state makes an absolute distinction between a "citizen" and "national" of the state. In the Zionist State, there is no such thing as an Israeli "National", only a Jewish "national". Palestinians living in the Zionist state are categorised according to their religion: Christians, Druze, Muslim citizens etc. Since they are not "nationals", they are denied the rights afforded to "nationals", who by definition will always be Jewish. In the English language the terms are often used interchangeably. Not so in the Apartheid State of Israel. In February of 2014, Palestinian Christians were further classified as Non-Arabs. With reference to extremism, I will remind the writer that since January of this year, 27 Palestinians were killed, including 9 children. 946 were injured including 316 children. All as a result of state-sponsored terrorism carried out by the military and illegal, extremist settlers. An entire family was wiped out as a result of an arson attack by settler terrorists, in which an 18 month old baby was burnt alive. A list of discriminatory laws in the Zionist state include: The Israeli Land Administration Law of 2009; Amendment (2010) to the Negev Development Authority Law 1991; The Admissions Committees Law (2011); Law Affording Preferences in Services to Former Soldiers. There are more than 45 such discriminatory laws that govern the lives of non-Jews living in Israel. The contents of each are easily available for the writer to study and make an informed decision on whether Israel is an Apartheid state or not. One all-expenses-paid joy ride to the Zionist entity does not make him an expert on the politics of the region. Let alone a life-long study of the politics of the region. I have barely scratched the surface in trying to give the writer a sense of the racist policies facing the non-Jews in the region. For the writer's information, the world's largest open air prison, Gaza, and the West Bank are under brutal military rule. There is no such thing as civil liberties in these militarily occupied territories. He must have gone on a carefully orchestrated visit to historic Palestine, part of the Zionist Hasbara (propaganda) machinery, which did not educate him. Did he/she notice the three-storey-high Apartheid wall or the separate roads especially built for settler colonialist from Eastern Europe or the heavily armed military patrols used to oppress any semblance of resistance against the ruthless and inhuman occupation of their homeland? Did Mangope experience the brutality and inhumane treatment of Palestinians at over 500 checkpoints? I guess not. In 2010, Israel expelled over 400 children born of non-Jewish parents to safeguard the Jewish identity of the Zionist state. Benyamin Netanyahu said at the time that the policy was to prevent illegal immigrants from the south of Egypt from entering the country. Meaning from Africa. In 1960, a political and military alliance was developed between Apartheid South Africa and the Zionist state. In the 70's this alliance was further cemented. In 1975, a joint secretariat for political and psychological warfare was created. In 1976, Apartheid Prime Minister John Vorster was given red carpet treatment by Israel for his policies to prevent "blacks from taking control of South Africa". This unholy alliance only served to prolong the imprisonment and exile of our struggle icons and for our freedom and independence. The above is only a very tiny part of the Apartheid Israel's overall criminal discourse against millions of people who do not belong to their "holy tribe", that is: who are not Jewish. .
