Lowveld Massacre Memorial Lecture 11 March 17h00 Kanyamazane Community Hall Ma Vegy Sigobela 082 640 8674 Enq : Ma Vegy 082 640 8674 TO : Communist University ATT : Dominic Tweedie SUBJECT : LOWVELD MASSACRE MEMORIAL LECTURE Greetings All members of society residing in Mpumalanga Province, Ehlanzeni Region and Escarpment- Mbombela Municipality are invited to a 30th Lowveld Massacre Memorial Lecture where we will be celebrating the lives of the students who sacrificed their lives in the liberation of the students under Apartheid Regime. The Massacre was organized by Students from Kanyamazane Township to demand release arrested students who were attending a court case at Kabokweni Magistrate court by the 11 March 1986. Date : 11 March 2016 Time : 17h00 Venue : Kanyamazane Community Hall The purpose of the event is to celebrate the Human's right month by conducting a Memorial lecture on Friday the 11 March 2016 and precede to the next day the 12 March 2016 Kanyamazane community hall, and to motivate the youth about the necessity and their democratic right to register and vote so that we defend the gains made by the youth of 1986 (LOYOMO) Lowveld Youth Movement. The students of 1986 were responding to the call made during 1985 by the President of the ANC cde OR Tambo to make South Africa ungovernable as a vehicle to wards liberation of the downtrodden.
