A revolution has never been a bed of roses, EFF leader Julius Malema said after his party members were removed from Parliament. "Under the current circumstances, there is nothing we can do.we are left with nothing but to engage in this programme. "We are ready to lay our lives in defence of the country's Constitution," Malema said. He said no one in the EFF will lay any charges against anyone following the clashes between EFF MPs and Parliament protection officers, which saw blows exchanged. "We are not laying any charges against anyone because we have done it before but nothing has happened. "We are done with peaceful approaches, we are fighting back now because nothing peaceful is working," Malema said. Earlier on Tuesday, EFF MPs said President Jacob Zuma must not be allowed to speak in Parliament following the damning Constitutional Court ruling in the controversial Nkandla saga. However, speaker Baleka Mbethe said there was no basis for the President not to be allowed to address the house, but EFF MPs continued with their defiance stance until they were eventually forcefully removed from the house.
