South African Communist Party Eastern Cape, 05 August 2016 Press Alert: "The SACP EC mourns the passing of Lerato and Monde Mpengesi" The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Eastern Cape has received with the great sense of sadness the news of the sudden passing of Lerato and Monde Mpengesi. The daughter and the son in law of the SACP 1st Provincial Deputy Secretary, Cde Sisimone Rakaibe. The two were found dead, lying in a pool of blood in the early hours of yesterday morning. They both died of a gunshot(s), the further details surrounding the deaths can only be known once police completed their work. As the SACP in the Eastern Cape, we wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Mpengesi and Rakaibe Family. We wish them strength to go through this difficult period.
