The launch of the Communist and Workers Council will take place as follows: • Date: 21 August 2016 (Sunday) • Time: 14h00 • Venue: Veeplaas Community Hall, Redhouse Road, corner Badela Street, Soweto-on-Sea, Ibhayi, Nelson Mandela Bay; S 33.8532°; E 25.5508° The meeting of the communist and workers representative to establish a communist and workers council whose aims and objectives are: • To advance the goals of socialism • To build a strong trade union movement • To strengthen relations between communist and workers • To establish a workers and communist bulletin for political work • To constantly engage in local state politics • To mobilise the working class and engage in struggles • To fight against all oppressive and unjust laws and practises • To take up internationalism struggles • To celebrate and honour our heroes It will also pay attention outcomes on local government elections and assess progress in party building through the organisational reports.
