SACTWU is the largest trade union in the clothing, textile, leather and footwear industry not only in South Africa but globally. It has stood firm in the midst of storms that confronted this sector, continued to represent the rights of members and emerged stronger. In these trying times when the militant institutions of our liberation movement are feeling the strain and are under attack, we are comforted by the solid presence of SACTWU.
