SADTU wishes SACTWU a successful 13th National Congress

The South African Democratic Teachers' Union (SADTU) wishes its sister union
and steadfast affiliate of COSATU, the Southern African Clothing and Textile
Workers Union (SACTWU) a successful 13th National Congress from 21-24
September in Cape Town.

SACTWU is the largest trade union in the clothing, textile, leather and
footwear industry not only in South Africa but globally. It has stood firm
in the midst of storms that confronted this sector, continued to represent
the rights of members and emerged stronger.

In these trying times when the militant institutions of our liberation
movement are feeling the strain and are under attack, we are comforted by
the solid presence of SACTWU. With SACTWU on our side, we know that the true
spirit of trade unionism is alive in South Africa

Long live SACTWU, Long Live!
