CU Technology: Dialogue is shifting from Google to Whatsapp Google Groups carry less dialogue than before A lot of dialogue has migrated to our new Whatsapp Groups. They are accessible from smart phones and easy to use. Dialogue has increased. The two media (Whatsapp and Google) have similarities and differences. There needs to be a policy, so that the workload does not get out of hand from duplication. The policy will be as follows: . In addition to the CU courses (see below), our Google Groups will normally carry at least one international and one national post of a topical item daily. Some occasional items will be sent in the same way. These items will then be sent to Whatsapp groups in PDF, except the course material, which will only go to Google groups. . Other items from the Internet will be posted as links to Whatsapp groups with a line or two of comment. These additional Items will not be sent to Google groups. . Most electronic fliers will be sent to Whatsapp only. . Reminders for the CU live sessions will be sent to local Whatsapp Groups, as appropriate. You will get the most benefit from the CU if you are a member of at least one CU Google Group and one CU Whatsapp Group. If you need to, please write to me at [email protected].
