The Constitution confers upon the President powers to constitute his Cabinet without imposing an obligation upon him to consult opposition parties in the exercise of this discretionary function. To read into the Constitution that the President must explain himself on the composition of the National Executive to the opposition is to use the judiciary to police political decisions and sets a very worrisome precedent. http://www.anc.org.za/content/anc-statement-ruling-president-must-provide-reasons-reshuffle President Zuma to meet with the Vuwani community President Jacob Zuma will on Sunday, 7 May 2017, at 10h00, meet with the community of Vuwani at the Nandoni Sports ground, Vuwani, Limpopo Province. On Thursday, Syria, Russia, Iran, Turkey and Western-backed insurgent groups meeting in Astana agreed to establish "de-escalation zones" in Syria to bolster the patchy ceasefire.
