it seem that you give them your password one time,
then  they keep on getting data from you every
24hours, and use it to calculate 'social relations'.


An api call to del.icio.us is only done when you log in and only if the last login is more then 24 hours ago. In all other cases the password is used to verify if you are allowed to access the locally stored data. We do NOT use your password to do any other api calls.
