You can do it in Japanese now, if you're in the habit of typing
partial compounds. For example, 1 kanji out of 2 in a compound will
show that compound as a suggestion. You hit the tab key and the
completion system puts it in the tags list for you.

But that doesn't make any sense, because a Japanese user is in the
habit of typing the full compound to get the right hiragana to kanji
conversion. Okay, maybe if you had two compounds like 出張準備, and you
type 出張 first...

Don't you have some Japanese tags already?
