hey all, I'm currently working on a new version of a site I threw together last fall called 'who links to me' -- for the ultimate narcissist in you.
You can see a preview of our new upcoming version here: http://wholinkstome.com/index_v2.php We're aggregating WLTM data (our own blog crawler), Google, Yahoo, Blogrolling, MSN and hopefully soon del.icio.us and (maybe) Alexa data as well. Anyway - what I was wondering was what the easiest way would be to obtain the total # of times a URL has been bookmarked? There's the del.icio.us RSS results for a URL, i.e.: http://del.icio.us/rss/url/f86cd3ef2332032101241f51e178885a Then there's an API call, i.e.: http://del.icio.us/api/posts/get?url=http://wholinkstome.com/ Which only returns aggregate bookmark'd counts for a URL (the data we need) if the user you authenticate as has bookmarked the site.
