1. I have one item tagged NominativeDeterminism http://del.icio.us/ Improbulus/NominativeDeterminism

However, if you search on Delicious for tag:NominativeDeterminism, it comes up with zero hits - http://del.icio.us/search/?all=tag% 3ANominativeDeterminism

What gives, am I missing something? I thought it would search everyone's tags (including mine). Is the tag too long perhaps for searching purposes, is there some kind of hidden character limit for searching?

Probably a bug in the search indexer; we will look into it.

2. I know that you can find tag intersections for stuff tagged A AND tagged B by using del.icio.us/tag/A+B (and (I believe, but have had weird results which don't seem to reflect that) searching for "tag:A AND tag:B"). So I could have a linkroll displaying only items tagged A AND B both by using http://del.icio.us/feeds/json/ Improbulus/A+B

But if I want to display items tagged A OR tagged B in a linkroll, is there any way of doing it please? From what I can see doing an "or" search for the two tags will work just for searching purposes, but - for linkrolls? And if there isn't a way at present, is there intended to be?

(I'm not talking about using stemming either as the words could be synonymous but quite different, e.g. (not a good example of tags, I know, but rather of synonyms where stemming wouldn't work) "rage" and "anger").

Understood. Union queries are coming as soon as we can. The search engine and the tag engine are currently separate; we are considering rewriting the tag stuff to use it.
