I'm also interested in seeing some kind of language-specific
filtering, particularly for the inbox. This would be the most
important use case since the inbox is already tailored to my
preferences.

I've been manually adding users who post a lot of Japanese and Hebrew
comments to my "ignore" list, but this solution isn't going to scale
in the long run.

It would be nice if each user profile had a preferred language so that
I could filter out all inbox posts that come from users that don't
match my preferred language(s). Alternatively, maybe each post could
somehow have an implicit language tag associated with it?

Also, any language based filtering solution should be flexible to
accomodate inclusion of multiple languages. Many users can read more
than one language. It's only us ignorant Americans who only know
English ;)

BTW, it seems like it used to be really easy to "ignore" and
"subscribe", but now I have to go through several steps. What gives?
