Well ... I was thinking merely that if you marked a user as
"trusted", then as well as being able to do a search of (1) your
personal bookmarks or (2) all users' bookmarks, you could constrain
your search to (3) a group of "trusted" users. (So I guess "trusted"
means "include in search results.")
I'm not really sure it's our job to make up for their lack of
metadata search...
Well, I wasn't thinking you'd need to do anything beyond groups to
support this. (The only stumbling block I saw was sites not being
allowed to pump tag/URL data directly into delicious, but it seems
this is okay--?)
I was envisioning a situation where you'd go to nytimes.com and
there'd be a page on there that said that the "nytimes" delicious
user bookmarks all pieces published on nytimes.com and so you'd add
the nytimes user to your "friends" group or "trusted" group or
whatever and bam! search of NY Times articles would be incorporated
into your regular delicious searches. So you'd end up with something
similar to A9's OpenSearch, but from a totally different direction.

articles, which I could then "trust"? I would very much like to be
