A good idea - we're definitely planning to do something like this, but
probably not through the tagging UI (too confusing)

This may seem weird, but I'd like to tag my own tags, if those
links
could come first in any display of those tags. For example, I
want to
tag my firefox page, del.icio.us/mwiik/firefox, and have my link
to
that page show up first. This would only apply to link displays
by
tag, and if there's an intersection, then they show up in order,
but
always on top, i.e. browsers+firefox would show the link to
del.icio.us/mwiik/browsers followed by the link to
del.icio.us/firefox.
It might be nice to have such tag definition links show up even
if
they were not tagged, but I could live with it if tagging was
required. Though it might be tagged automatically, i.e. my link
to
del.icio.us/mwiik/firefox could have the firefox tag
automatically
inserted.
The primary use of this would be to assemble a set of one or
more
tags for a group (e.g. coworkers), and have the first displayed
link
be a definition of the tag.
An alternative to this would be to have tag definitions
separate.
