All:
I am having trouble using the 'rename tags' feature of del.icio.us 'settings'
when renaming a tag from '!sometag' to 'for:sometag'. I want to move items
within multiple workgroups that have been named '!sometag' such that these
bookmarks can be combined into an account 'del.icio.us/sometag' using 'links
for you' in the 'del.icio.us/sometag' account as an editorial tool to approve
(save) and codify a taging system for the various links . Essentially I am
looking for a way to populate a tag archive from a distributed set of users
with a level of editorial control. It seems that "for:sometag" is not just a
regular del.icio.us tag that can be renamed from with an existing regular tag.
Do I need to have distributed users individually subscribe each link to the
network?
On del.icio.us I am 'del.icio.us/jwells' and am seeking to populate the archive
account 'del.icio.us/foodresource' from distributed user who have tagged items
'!FoodResource'.
Any ideas?
