Spammers didn't "win" yet, but they aren't losing, either. They are all over
email, public listings, blogs, comments, trackbacks, wikis, newsgroups... In
many cases, detecting robots (eg. CAPTCHA) helps to prevent automated
posting. In this case, blocking robots wouldn't help because a human spammer
could simply upload thousands of links in a matter of minutes. Do blogs let
you bulk upload comments, do wikis provide a feature to edit thousands of
pages by simply uploading a file?
