I just recently installed and updated to the latest version of
delicious. Pretty handy tool, I must say, after going 7 years or so
collecting bookmarks from work and home and constantly zipping them up
and trying to organize them, etc. But I am having a problem right
now. Before, on my first import, I had several hundred bookmarks.
The bookmarks and tags appeared as normal in the Bookmarks pane on the
left. Sometimes as I imported them or modified them, you could see
the list grow, shrink, or change. But last night I imported about
3,000 more, and plan to sort them all out once and for all...and now
nothing shows up in my Bookmarks pane anymore. Is there a limit to
how many it can display? Is this a bug? Or do I need to turn
something back on to make them all appear again? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
Also, one final question - I like the idea of tags but it REALLY sucks
that you can't use the hierarchical (nested) method of topical
subfolders like I used to do, and tags look retarded like
"CharlieParker" or "joesatriani". Does anyone have any creative ways
around these limitations? Thanks.
