Hi, I think it might be interesting to extend del.icio.us to give you additional information about bookmarks by looking at the content of each site.
And one can go beyond just getting the text and images on the site. In particular, one can show the web traffic on that site in real-time, perhaps with a cool visualization such as this: http://www.visitorville.com/ One could also show currently popular pages on the site and perhaps even construct tours on the fly based on what's hot. Indeed, one could even let users "bookmark" fragments of the site that are hot at that moment. del.icio.us could act as a proxy to get this traffic. Alternatively, web site owners could transfer their web server log data in real-time to del.icio.us. Why would they do this? It's a form of advertising for their site.
