That's where the tagging system of del.icio.us comes in handy. You could tag the link as judaism and christianity and the link will be show under the two hierarchy, so you will always found it's place. Think of the tags as folders, you can delimit them ( user choice here del.icio.us if you ever going to implement this ) as I do using a '.' example
design.photoshop and design.technique so I will have a tree structure like this : |- design | |- photoshop | |- technique and the same bookmark will be under both branches. I think it all comes down to the number of bookmarks you have .. if they are big ( and big is different to everyone ) using a hierarchy will help you to find what are you looking for, and may change the way you use your browser bookmarks.
