I can't recall now, but I will keep an eye out for the next time. I have not, but will check this on next occurrence. If it matters, does the del.icio.us team prefer one approach over the other for getting basically the last post or two, i.e. is one method less resource-intensive over the other and I could consider switching within Pukka?
