Tomorrow I am going to try to start back to work. Unfortunately that coincides
with the arrival of Hurricane Isaac. The projected path is south of the island
but not by much. (We are on the north side.) It looks like it will be a
Category 1 when it gets here.

The governor has already declared that government employees are to not report
to work tomorrow. I'm not sure if that affects private employers or not.

It sounds like we will lose power and water but the neighbors say everything is
normally back on later in the day.

Clearly I will be on-line if feasible. If I shut down everything but the
network and laptop the UPS should last many hours.

Our house is 300 years old and has thick masonry walls and is pretty high
elevation within the protective wall. It has seen many of these storms.
