-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all.
I've recently installed YDL on an iMac G5 17" (original) that has has an airport extreme card put into it. I have followed the instructions at http://us.fixstars.com/support/solutions/ydl_6.0/airport-extreme.shtml and with no luck. the details of lspci | grep broadcom; are: # lspci | grep -i broadcom 0001:01:01.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03) this seems to be the same chipset that is spoken of in the howto. having follwed the howto, reboot, and nothing, ifconfig only shows lo and eth0, as does iwconfig. I've tried some other firmwares and loading bcm43xx module - that just gives a FATAL module not found. i'm not new to linux atall, and have setup a few bcm devices, but I am new to Linux on PPC hardware (and only got the mac a week ago as a project), however, I normally compile my own kernels for such things (I really can't be bothered at the moment) I can't see anything in the logs trying to load modules for this card, and I really don't know what i'm supposed to be loading for it, any tips would be really helpful. thanks in advanced.
