Did you follow the instructions for Airport Extreme?  

The previous poster, Keromblum, did provide the link to the correct
instructions the problem that you are confronting may be that the
information is very dated.  For the sake of explicit clarity, you need
to acquire the fwcutter software first, then use it to extract the
Broadcom driver from the Mac OS.

You can download the fwcutter directly from here
(http://bu3sch.de/b43/fwcutter/), although the previously posted
official directions should be closely executed first.

See how far you get executing the directions and if that fails, then
post to this list what output you saw as you did each step.

Hopefully, you'll be up and running wicd via Airport Extreme quickly.
