The thing is that I have an old imac and before throwing to the trash I would like to run any Linux distro in a rather easy way ( without using terminal). Is that possible without getting frustrated?.I have tried, kubuntu 10.10, xubuntu 10.10, debian 5.0,,ubuntu 8.04,,ubuntu 6.10 . I have a similar situation to Yellow Dog with Debian but I can't reach the desktop. Linux will be free software but it is not user friendly.
