Yeah Apple did buy Shake and were supposedly making it only for OSX but if you go to the website, it has system requirements for Red Hat systems. It's nice that it's been ported to Linux, but why not PPC??
I know that Shake isn't only for G5, because I have it on my Powerbook G4. I just want to put it on my desktop.
Any ideas on other PPC compositors??

believe its even G5 only.

It also looks scarily expensive, and is of course closed source, so if
theres no PPC Linux builds, you'd have to beg for them

Does anyone know if YDL supports any compositing software. Mainly
Shake, I wanna see if I can get it working but I haven't found anything
online about it. I know that Shake is supported on Red Hat for x86
hardware, but there's nothing about PPC.
If Shake is offered, are there any pros out there who could give a
suggestion on programs to get for Yellow Dog.

Thanx
