Hi Joseph--

I've tried to install 2.10 & am running up against a problem in the build---I get to gst-plugins &

gstshout2.h:25:25: shout/shout.h: No such file or directory
In file included from gstshout2.c:23:

It then goes thru several lines of pointer problems with various shout & libgstshout types--
Then I get---

I followed your outline from about a month ago---have tried several different things, but nothing seems to allow me past this point---

Ideas/suggestions?

Version 2.10.1 is a "bug fix" version of the 2.10.x.y series.

The current "gar-ball",

       ftp://cipherfunk.org/pub/tarballs/garnome/garnome-2.10.1.tar.bz2

"mostly" builds and installs without incident. Discussions of "mostly"
can be found at:

The menu standard adopted by GNOME and KDE is evolving

http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Standards_2fmenu_2dspec
gnome-menus-2.10.1 is evolving along with the standard. At some point in
time a standard menu editing tool will be made available that will allow
users and administrators to manipulate the contents of menus. For now,
menu contents must be manipulated by hand. The menu spec provides
enough information on how to do this.
