Doh! Never mind. A little pointing and click reveals the ftp and the
linux-2.6.11.tar.gz... I'll give this a try and see what happens. Thanks
again for the help.

Joseph,
I'm still a little confused. Where do I download just the 2.6.11
source? I only see the link to 2.6.11-11.
Thanks,
Jon

For the current pre-patch version, The base release to patch is 2.6.11,
not 2.6.11.11 [I have been bitten by this one before :-)]

Joseph,
I was just working on this a few minutes ago. I downloaded the
11.11 source and patch-rc5 files from kernel.org. I patched the
kernel source but an umable to build the kernel sucessfully. (i.e.
mmap.o fails because of an incompatible function call). Assuming I'm
in the newly untared source dir and the patch has also been
bunzipped, is the following patch command correct?
[EMAIL PROTECTED]> patch -p1 < ../patch-2.6.12-rc5
Any info is greatly appreciated. BTW, I'm building with a stock
4.0.1 install on a new 1.67 GHz powerbook.
Thanks,
Jonathan

YDL-4.0.1 appears to run OK under:
* linux-2.6.11.11 [current stable version of kernel]
* linux-2.6.12-rc5
Graphics support for NVIDIA GeForce2MX cards is still broken.
