I now have a WG511T card. I did a "yum install madwifi". I got no error messages. A /lib/modules/2.6.10-1.ydl.1/net directory was created, which includes 9 files(e.g. ath_pci.ko, ath_hal.ko, wlan.ko). I found no Readme files or Man page installed for madwifi. Can anyone tell me what file(s) do I need to configure. Is Hotplug needed? Does anybody have a very detailed receipe of how to get this card working?
I found one article that said to try "modprobe ath_pci". I tried this while in the /lib/modules/2.6.10-1.ydl.1/net directory, I get "FATAL: Module ath_pci not found". - MJS -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2005 2:00 PM To: [email protected] Subject: yellowdog-general Digest, Vol 11, Issue 19 Send yellowdog-general mailing list submissions to [email protected] To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://lists.terrasoftsolutions.com/mailman/listinfo/yellowdog-general or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can reach the person managing the list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of yellowdog-general digest..."
