A new release of MySQL 5.0.15 (GA) is now available

Version 5 adds a number of new features
* stored procedures
* triggers
* views
* cursors
* information schema
* xa distributed transactions
* faster performances
A binary tarball can be downloaded from
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html
The "Max" version includes NDB cluster support.
The binary versions are build to be unpacked under /usr/local.
Installation instructions are to be found in the INSTALL_BINARY file
contained in the tarball.
