I spoke with you on the phone. You may be able to use FC4's XSane package. Add the following to /etc/yum.conf:
[fc4base] name=Fedora Core 4 base baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/4/ppc/os/ and then do a yum update '*sane*' Disclaimer: I haven't tried it with this particular package, it may break it, it may do nothing, but I have installed Fedora Core 4/PPC packages on my YDL 4.1 machine. -AJ On Wed, 2006-04-12 at 16:15 -0700, Len chrysler wrote: > When I try to get Xsane to open, the user agreement comes on the screen, > I click OK, and the next thing I see is a flash of a small box and then > it goes away and does nothing after that, Like it crashes.
