Sorry that I can't be of much help with your problem. However I can safely say that I regretted installing YDL on my Mac Mini although the installation was flawless. After that, I've had numerous problems like video, sound, apps behaving so badly I had to use the terminal and sometimes reboot to shut them down. I've tried many distros so I'm not speaking out of frustration when I say migrate to another distro if you can like Ubuntu or Kubuntu where the support is far greater and the distros are getting better all the time.
